You weren't happy about it when you were a baby. Blood borne acetylcholine double during a neonatal hospital circumcision done under a penile nerve block. Yours was almost certainly done with no pain relief. It's demonstrable trauma. You don't know the effects of neonatal trauma.

Trauma? What? Are you kidding me? BIRTH is about as traumatic an event as you can imagine but they seem to survive that. We all experience pain and trauma as children and throughout our lives.growing up. Would you suggest that falling and scraping your knee as a child is traumatic? Having a foreskin snipped off under anesthetic is insignificant especially when you compare it with the all the foreskin diseases that uncircumcised boys and men are prone to as well as the psychological trauma of carrying a foreskin around for the rest of their lives, the smegma and the awful, awful smell.

If birth is traumatic then that makes it okay to further traumatize people for the rest of their lives?

What makes you think that having part of one's penis cut off is insignificant trauma? There are clear physiological indications that infant circumcision under dorsal penile nerve block is very painful--stress hormone levels that double, greatly increased respiration, heart rate.
