There have been no studies of the risk of HIV transmission in "docking" and I find it difficult to conceive of how a valid study could be done.

I couldn't be bothered to check all of them and theres prob many I don't know about. As a parent, I know it would cause me enormous hurt if I thought my son held me responsible for his failures in life, especially for something I did in good faith and on the best advice. As a parent, what bothers me about Jack's neurosis is that it has probably poisoned his relationship with with his parents. He makes many resentful posts about parents who choose to circumcise and I have little doubt that he has consciously or unconsciously made his parents aware that he blames them for his dissatisfaction with the shape and size and texture of his penis. As a parent, I know it would cause me enormous hurt if I thought my son held me responsible for his failures in life, especially for something I did in good faith and on the best advice. Fortunately my son is very grateful that my wife and I chose to circumcise him and he has told me that if he ever has sons, they will be circumcised too (only one daughter so far though). Jack, your parents did the best they could for as a baby I am sure, and I agree with David, if your penis is not the size and shape you want, that's from genetics, not your circumcision. I really hope you have not caused your parents unnecessary pain

Personal attacks are the classic weak argument. But who can even say what the topic of debate is? You and Parker are fixated on creating a fictionalized version of "Jack". There's not much to say about it. Except that you put a fair amount of thought into custom building this enemy you call Jack. If you really want a "Jack" punching bag, I don't mind popping back here now and then to provide another paragraph for you to work with. We can do that for another year or so until someone finally forgets to check alt.circumcision anymore. This is how usenet works. It's still better than the stupid arguments on FB. I did was point out a fact that is obvious to everybody else, that you have a kind of nervous tic where instead of responding seriously to others, you always try to change the subject by a one line sarcastic comment about the other person. I wonder if you are aware that you do this and if so, why do you do it, as is is so counterproductive to you. If you could see yourself as others see you, then maybe you could make some changes and win some respect. How easily you forget the insulting things you say to women! Jack, If they were just rare slips or errors out of character you would remember them, but you don't which means you probably do it (or think it) all the time. Harriet you are new here. To understand Jack you have to know that he is deeply misogynistic. He despises and fears women and is intolerant of any criticism by female posters. If he gets into an argument with a man he retreats like a whining cur, complaining that they are not being nice to him. So this "continuous parade" consists of just THREE identifiable women!! Jack's misogyny is so intense that his fevered imagination has multiplied them many times over. He seethes with hostility at a parade of women who don't even exist.
He did exactly the same when you showed up, Harriet. He says the style of your post is "indistinguishable" from that of two male posters, Uckister and Parker. But the styles are totally different! Parker is British and uses British spellings and colloquialisms, like "arse" for ass. He calls people "mate" and refers to "blokes". Somehow Jack didn't notice that. Uckister's style is quite different from Harriet and from Parker. Uckister writes American english. Harriet is always quite polite to Jack when they disagree. She says things like "What kind of response is that, for heaven's sake?" or "I'm sorry but I have to disagree," or "May we please return to the point". Uckister's style is completely different and VERY impolite. He goes for the jugular with cuss words about Jack's brains and drinking problem: "Jack you are just too fucking stupid to be worth arguing with. Jack is so consumed with his hostile fantasies that he thinks these three styles are "indistinguishable"!
